Well this week was good! We are trying out a new-ish thing. Just editing the schedule a little. The whole new schedule was in part to help us get out earlier. But president still wanted us to do personal study and stuff before leaving. So he made a new rule that before 12 we have to be outside for 2 hours, just helps people get out of the house. We did that for a few days but because we have to do it after personal study and stuff we end up going out from like 10 to 12 which is one of the least effective times. So we talked with president and we are testing going out before doing personal study and work out. We wake up, plan, get ready and leave. So we are out from about 7:30 to 9:30. Which is when all the students are going to school and people are going to work. So it has been pretty fun and successful going out in the mornings. Plus you then can get a better personal study and work out in, so personally I am a fan!
I like that, but we couldn't meet with almost anybody this week... We are just trying to find people to meet with us. But it is finals for almost all students right now so they are too busy to meet, so just before I leave we should be getting a fair amount of appointments! hahaha
We had two really cool Chinese guys we met and invited them to our basketball activity the next day and they both came. And they are both pretty dang good. (I still rock them don't worry... hahaha) We also met two Americans who play basketball at the part on Saturday. So we went and played with them and I got an elbow the the eye so I have a nice bruise on my eye! So I guess basketball is our best finding tool right now!
We also had my last zone conference. We went to a mountain fortress thing. It was a good last zone conference! They had us all bring a rock and carry it with us. We stopped at a several different places and had some trainings. Then at the end we talked about leaving behind some of our burdens/mistakes. We unloaded our rocks. It was good. At first I felt it was a little childish but I did feel that God can help me overcome! So it was a good! Plus in Korea you do a thing called "last words" So I was able to do that. It was pretty simple. I told about Mr. Davis' speech when he said to "choose consciously and deliberately to love" and how that has become very meaningful to me. But more than just choosing consciously and deliberately to love, choosing consciously and deliberately to so something has power. Choosing consciously and deliberately to have faith. Choosing consciously and deliberately to be effective, etc. So I just testified that as we consciously and deliberately choose to do those things God blesses us and fills any gap. It was pretty moving if I do say so myself! But I do believe that is really important! To choose to believe! Choose to improve. Etc.
Hurrah for Israel!
