This week was a very unique week! We had a long p-day on Friday, our big multi zone conference on Saturday where the missionary schedule changed, and then the new year weekend where pretty much everything shots down, oh and there was transfer calls! So the bad news this week, is that we were not able to meet with any investigators this week. We had several appointments with potential investigators but they all cancelled and we will meet them next week... well my companion will meet them next week! I am getting transferred to GokBanJung. I am excited! However it does mean that I have help trained 4 missionaries, but not even one completely. Plus Elder Perry will come to Gimpo and finish training Elder Hunsaker.
The two main changes that happened to the schedule is that we do planning in the morning, and we can choose when to do studies. We just have to do personal study before 10. And then the other big change is that there are only 4 stats the church wants. Baptized and confirmed, investigators with a baptism date, investigators attending church, and new investigators. I like all the changes!
When missionaries leave an area they give a quick goodbye testimony. It was a cool moment for me. I simply testified that got provides a way to fulfill his commandments. I asked them to do missionary work to there friends. As I ended with my testimony, I teared up. It was a cool moment for me for 2 reasons. I felt that I truly do know Christ is our savior, he does give us commandments for our benefit, and he provides a way for us to do those commandments. Second, I think it was the first time I have gotten emotional speaking Korean! So that was just a good moment.
So I guess that is my testimony/spiritual thought this week. God does command us to do hard things, or uncomfortable things, but he always provides a way for us. He is our savior, our redeemer, and will always bless us for our efforts!
Hurrah for Israel!
